“Omaggio a Costantino Nivola” was the title of the exhibition that the Duchamp Art organized on the first anniversary of the artist’s death.

It was attended by some of the Sardinian artists who had known and loved him. At the opening of the exhibition, there were presented excerpts from letters that Costantino Nivola had written to Maria Lai and to me. Discovering Nivola as a “poet” was a good surprise for the public. Five years have passed since May 5, 1988, and this small volume, which collects passages and fragments of the artist’s letters, thoughts and poetic meditations, he wants to keep alive the memory of the extraordinary man.
