This volume comes out on the occasion and as an appendix to the exhibition held in Nuoro “Nivola. The investigation of space” commissioned by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Sardinia Region. But it is not the exhibition catalog. While documenting the entire exhibition, it goes much further because it introduces generative elements and explores the conceptual, ethical and aesthetic roots of Nivola’s public art. A book of documents and studies, from which new horizons of research arise, within an area of great fascination among other things and moreover invested today by a rather heated public debate.
