________

Pratza ‘e domo is not just an exhibition but an open device that reflects on the boundary between the domestic and the public, absence and construction, memory and exile. Curated by Giuliana Altea, Antonella Camarda and Luca Cheri, the project by Nairy Baghramian – one of the most influential sculptors on the contemporary scene – initiates a dialogue between her works and those of Phyllida Barlow, Nicolas Hsiung, Janette Laverrière, Rosemay Mayer, Win Mc Carthy, Julie Mehretu, Oscar Murillo, Paulina Olowska, Monika Sosnowska, and Mariantonia Urru, generating tension between sculpture, design, and shared space.

The catalogue brings together contributions by Giuliana Altea, Antonella Camarda, and Andrea Lissoni, along with images and visual documents, that reveal the intricate stratifications of both the project and Baghramian’s practice. A collective narrative that moves between theory and form, evoking the possibility of a house never built – yet real in its conceptual essence and fundamental to experiencing the present.
